Any exercise for pre surgery .. maybe ones to strengthen and also for extension …I’ve got bone on bone … not having surgery until late spring . In the meantime .. injections so I can do something …Dr says don’t do too much … knees only have so much life in them ….font want to make it worse

My PH was horrified i was using a massage gun around the new tkr, she said the vibration can loosen the cement used to secure the prosthetic, logic i suppose.

I have been following you after my first knee replacement then I had to have a revision because it loosened in five months. I had to wait 16 months to have the surgery now my second knee replacement revision isn’t doing well. It’s been 10 months. I’m having serious bouts of Answering bursitis, my surgeon didn’t answer any of my questions yesterday should I be going to therapy for bursitis? Should I be getting stronger muscles or doing more stretching? Should I wrap the knee? It’s been very frustrating having a knee replacements one of the biggest mistakes I’ve ever made just wondered what your thoughts weresince nobody else answers my questions thank you

I did not sleep well for 2 months!

I was on the walker 3 weeks. Then went to the cane for 3 weeks. Still stiff and tight!

I just got one a few days ago 6/2024 my base is an X shape and it does come with the larger foot pedals. Bought on QVC for 200$. I use a wheelchair and I don’t walk at all. Have partial paralysis in my legs and I hook my feet to the pedals and I did 5 minutes of playing around first bit then I was able to run it for another 10 minutes. My thighs felt the burn a bit and that was great. Felt it in my mid abdomen and behind and thighs. I was a bit sore that evening but when I woke up the next day I was fine! I’m going to do this every day. Trying to build up enough strength to be able to get in and out of the shower a little bit easier and I can pedal it alone but it’s a strain for me. I do have thigh muscles that work ok but looking forward for this to increase my leg strength and circulation. The only thing I find as a problem is the X shaped base that mine came with does slide slowly forward. Might be the position and the chair I am using. I’m going to sit in the wheelchair and see if it’s a better height for the machine to not move forward. Definitely good for people who can’t move their legs on their own. It is a bit heavy to move around and needs to be plugged in.

These are calibrated. Meaning that when these things read 100% then you really only have 21% oxygen level because the atmos has only 21% oxygen thay tell us right now your body doesn't matter or consintrate oxygen it uses and distributes oxygen. Your body distribute oxygen to the red blood cells evenly then thay deside how much oxygen to give to reach cell according to what you need to live. And so whatever the oxygen levels are in the investment is what is going to be in each cell or less. You cant fill two cups of water with one cup of water you can split it up between the two cups but you can only get what there is to have.

It’s been over a year and I still don’t have full rom. I was an avid jiu jitsu athlete and I loves to do squats. My life is ruined. I have tried everything. Lost all my money and I’m broke. Literally lost everything because of this surgery.

My wife is at the 12 week point. She still has some pain and tires quickly when attempting to walk. Starting to think something may be wrong inside the knee.

Nobody will tell you the truth about the pain!!! Or we wouldn't do it right!?! This has been awful....I had 3 tares on shoulder and it was 8 months PT....nothing like this knee and I have one more to do yet! I am 4 weeks out and it is NOT FUN!

Thank you, Tony. She took it off about an hour ago. Said the incision looked good. But, because I am so sensitive to adhesives she doesn't want to put a new dressing on it. And, they really want that blister to heal.

I had the same type if dressing and when the home nurse came to change it, I had three blisters. The nurse didn't put new dressing on for several days until the blisters dried up.

If i could turn back time i would not have the surgery done, its painful swollen and just feels outright awkward and an unnatural gait to my walk, if you can control with meds, physio and a good diet then go down that road.

I had a bad experience with my physical therapist he wrapped a band around my ankle he pulled n i heard a snap crake n pop he torn my plantar fascist

The routine is otc pain med, physio, icing and elevation. Day 11 post op no reoder for anything stronger. I made big ice packs with baking soda and salt. They freeze will and with two the entire knee gets wrapped. The small more expensive purchased ice packs have covers with velcro on them I purchased a long strip of 4 “ opposite Velcro strap this on to my leg mild compression. Saves on the expensive sleeve that goes with the ice pack. Everyone’s pain tolerance is different, I need to keep moving slow and steady.

Mine is because he put the wrong size in 🤦‍♀️and it’s an overhang the only way to fix it is to do a revision which the dr says it’s worse operation I found this out at my 1st year follow up and yes I was complaining about this pain the whole year and he finally admitted he put the wrong size in. So I’m living with the pain.

Range of motion is an attitude. If you believe that you have only a finite period of time you have let them define your results. You are in charge of you and your recovery. Get rid of them as soon as you can.
